Concept
“Simple & Natural”
Since 1992 the salon has worked to a single idea: a style should still look right after you leave. Length, colour and movement are planned so they are easy to wash, dry and wear between visits.
Shampoo and treatment are chosen for your scalp and hair, not from a single house formula. If hard water, colour damage or a busy week is getting in the way, tell us. That conversation is part of the appointment.
- Colour or a perm, without accepting unnecessary damage.
- A finish that does not demand a long routine at home.
- Products that stay gentle when London water feels harsh.
Betterton Street
A quieter room, two minutes away
Beside the Drury Lane salon, the Betterton Street rooms are arranged for privacy. The 60-minute Japanese head spa is given here on a fully reclining chair, with a waterfall head bath of warm water over the scalp.
Private rooms are also available when you would rather not have your hair seen by other guests, or when you need extra privacy for personal, cultural or religious reasons.

Recognition
Fresha Best in Class, five years running
In 2026 the London salon received the Fresha Best in Class award again. It is the platform’s highest mark, given for steady service among a very large field of beauty businesses. For Hayato, the fifth consecutive year reflects Japanese technique that protects the hair, and time spent with each guest.
