Japanese Head Spa
A head spa is more than a long shampoo. The scalp is cleared of oil and residue that a daily wash often leaves behind, then massaged so circulation and the nervous system can settle. A fine mist is used through the service so water reaches the hair and the pores more evenly.
At Betterton Street the 60-minute ritual is private: a reclining chair, a scalp scope, and a waterfall bath where warm water runs continuously over the head. The 30-minute spa on the main floor is open to the room. Guests who want privacy can add a private room when one is free.
- 1. Consultation and, for the premium service, a look at the scalp.
- 2. Cleansing mask, then a shampoo chosen for oil, dryness or buildup.
- 3. Massage, waterfall rinse on the long service, then a nourishing mask.
- 4. Warm towel, scalp serum, shoulder massage, and the finish you booked.
Why guests book it
- A cleaner scalp when dandruff, itch or hard-water film is a problem.
- Easier tension through the neck, temples and shoulders.
- Hair that feels lighter once buildup is gone.
- A monthly rhythm that follows the scalp’s renewal cycle.
